Why Nettle 😉

Nettle is a nutritious food that is rich in vitamins A and C and minerals, including iron, calcium, manganese, potassium and silica.

Iron – with 1.46 milligrams per 1-cup serving of cooked leaves – the equivalent of 2 cups of fresh leaves. Each 1-cup portion contains 7.7% to 17.5% of the daily recommended intake.
Calcium – the content is also significant: 1 cup provides 32.9 to 42.8% of the amount you require daily. Calcium promotes strong teeth and bones.

In its peak season, nettle contains up to 25% protein, dry weight, which is high for a leafy green vegetable.*
